EU Green Paper on mHealth
14 people responded to my original mailing as having a sufficient interest in responding to the EU Green Paper on mHealth to want to meet to discuss it. A meeting is now planned for the afternoon of 27th May, at the Digital Television Group offices at 5th Floor, 89 Albert Embankment, Vauxhall, London, SE1 7TP. Any recently-joined members interested in participating, do please email me. I have produced a draft response to the Green Paper, which incorporates comments on two drafts that members have kindly sent me – I will be getting it out to those attending the meeting this week, as well as posting it on our members-area website.
DHACA is also in the process of organising a first DHACA Day, scheduled for 11th July. This whole day meeting, also in the DTG London offices, will involve a few presentations from speakers on topics such as NHS/social care integration, mHealth, Information Governance and Technology Enabled Care Services. The principal focus of the day though will be on you as members deciding what you want DHACA to work on, and then identifying volunteers to take each topic forwards. More details will be available over the coming days – do save the date in your diaries though. There will of course be no charge for DHACA members attending.
DHACA has a Twitter account which is now active, so if you follow @DHACA_org you should be the first to receive our news.
All questions/comments/suggestions gratefully received: please do contact me.
