Membership Membership of DHACA continues to rise – we now have over 122 members, from approximately 100 different private, public and third sector organisations EU Green Paper on mHealth 14 people responded to my original mailing as having a sufficient interest in responding to the EU Green Paper on mHealth to want to meet to discuss it.  A meeting is now planned for the afternoon of 27th May,  at the Digital Television Group offices at 5th Floor, 89 Albert Embankment, Vauxhall, London, SE1 7TP. DHACA exceeds 100 members

Digital Health and Care AllianceDHACA (Digital Health and Care Alliance) has recently exceeded 100 members, and new members are joining at a rate of 1-2 per day. Meanwhile, the DHACA core team within i-focus are busy preparing the first events and working out the governance details. As the dallas programme passes its halfway point, one of its four projects, i-focus, has formed an organisation to continue the promotion of interoperability across the health & care sector beyond the end of dallas. The Alliance, with the acronym DHACA, will help NHS organisations, local authorities and third-sector providers collaborate and share information about new digital services.  This will significantly help members reduce costs, remove duplication of effort and improve support for independent living and self-management projects, resulting in much-improved patient outcomes.
