SUMMARY:Inclusive Research and Co-design in Digital Health: book your workshop place!
DESCRIPTION:The King’s Health Partners Digital Health Hub is running a free workshop on inclusive research and co-design in digital health\, online on Wednesday 25th March\, 2pm-4pm. Click here to book.  \nDigital health initiatives often have uneven engagement once deployed in real-world settings\, raising important digital equity considerations. Trust\, prior institutional experience\, data confidence\, and structural inequality shape whether digital tools are adopted long-term. This online workshop will examine the practical implications of these dynamics. It will focus on how inclusive research and co-design approaches can strengthen recruitment\, improve the credibility of engagement processes\, and support more reliable adoption in complex\, real-world settings. \nThe online session will cover: \n\nHow mistrust and structural inequality influence digital health engagement\nWhy access and usability alone do not resolve participation gaps\nThe role of data confidence and institutional history in shaping uptake\nRecruitment and communication strategies for digitally excluded and low-trust groups\nApplying inclusive research principles to digital testing\, piloting and implementation\n\nThis session will be guest facilitated by Muhammed Rauf from Elysium London. It is open to you if you are a UK-based health or care professional\, manager\, researcher\, student\, patient\, family carer\, or Small to Medium sized Enterprise using a co-design process and methods to develop a digital health technology. You can be at any stage of a project.
