SUMMARY:LSX World Congress
DESCRIPTION:A change of location from London\, here is the initial programme. DHACA is again a media partner. The discount code is DHACA10 if the above link hasn’t already given it to you. Lisbon of course is a great location\, especially for the custard tarts\, though personally I’ll be sad the event is no longer just at the other end of the Elizabeth Line to where I live.

SUMMARY:Preparing for NICE-Mandated Digital Health Adoption
DESCRIPTION:Webinar: Preparing for NICE-Mandated Digital Health Adoption\n\nWhat’s changing in April 2026 – and how systems & suppliers can get ready now \nFrom April 2026\, NICE plans to bring digital and AI health technologies into the same statutory appraisal and adoption pathway as medicines. That means when NICE issues positive guidance\, NHS organisations will have a legal duty to fund and adopt – often within a 90-day window. \nThis marks a major shift away from pilots and local variation\, towards consistent\, system-wide adoption of digital health. But while the vision is clear\, many of the practical questions are still emerging. \nIn this session\, we’ll unpack what the proposed NICE changes mean in practice for ICSs\, Trusts and primary care — and what systems can do now to prepare\, so the 90-day clock doesn’t become a pressure point. \n  \nWhat we’ll cover\n\nWhat’s changing in NICE’s approach to digital & AI health from 2026\nHow the new pathway compares to the medicines model\nWhat “mandated adoption” could mean for governance\, assurance and funding\n\nKey takeaways\n\nA clear understanding of the upcoming NICE changes and timelines\nPractical steps systems can take now to get ready\nHow to support faster\, safer adoption without reinventing the wheel\nWhat “good” digital prescribing and assurance could look like at scale

SUMMARY:Inclusive Research and Co-design in Digital Health: book your workshop place!
DESCRIPTION:The King’s Health Partners Digital Health Hub is running a free workshop on inclusive research and co-design in digital health\, online on Wednesday 25th March\, 2pm-4pm. Click here to book.  \nDigital health initiatives often have uneven engagement once deployed in real-world settings\, raising important digital equity considerations. Trust\, prior institutional experience\, data confidence\, and structural inequality shape whether digital tools are adopted long-term. This online workshop will examine the practical implications of these dynamics. It will focus on how inclusive research and co-design approaches can strengthen recruitment\, improve the credibility of engagement processes\, and support more reliable adoption in complex\, real-world settings. \nThe online session will cover: \n\nHow mistrust and structural inequality influence digital health engagement\nWhy access and usability alone do not resolve participation gaps\nThe role of data confidence and institutional history in shaping uptake\nRecruitment and communication strategies for digitally excluded and low-trust groups\nApplying inclusive research principles to digital testing\, piloting and implementation\n\nThis session will be guest facilitated by Muhammed Rauf from Elysium London. It is open to you if you are a UK-based health or care professional\, manager\, researcher\, student\, patient\, family carer\, or Small to Medium sized Enterprise using a co-design process and methods to develop a digital health technology. You can be at any stage of a project.
